The New York Giants arrive in Indianapolis ahead of their rematch with the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA. (JANUARY 30, 2012)(NBC)- The New York Giants arrived in Indianapolis on Monday (January 30) , ready to begin preparations for their Super Bowl XLVI matchup against the New England Patriots. The team arrived in the mid-afternoon on a commercial jet flying a giants flag from an opened cockpit window.

The Giants opened their postseason by soaring past the Atlanta Falcons, followed by road wins over the top-seeded Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers and finally the second-seeded San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship. For the Patriots, who captured three Super Bowls in four years during the early 2000s, this is their first trip back to the NFL's showcase game. They were humbled by a 17-14 upset loss to the Giants in Super Bowl XLII in Glendale, Arizona.
