Tiger Woods says the goal is always to win as he prepares for Desert Classic.

DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES (FEBRUARY 9, 2011) REUTERS -
Tiger Woods starts the Dubai Desert Classic on Thursday (February 10) as world number three, behind Lee Westwood of Britain and Martin Kaymer of Germany.

Woods dominated the World Rankings for 281 weeks before being dethroned last October by Westwood, and won the Desert Classic in 2006 and 2008. But the Tiger has now gone 14 months without a victory.

When asked on Wednesday (February 9) about his motivation nowadays he said that nothing had changed.

"Well, it's the same. That's why I tee up. If I'm in the event, it's to win. That's just plain and simple. I don't always win. I've certainly lost a lot more tournaments than I've won. It's the goal every week we tee up, and that doesn't change."
