Paris St Germain midfielder David Beckham lifts the Ligue 1 trophy on an emotional final night at the Parc des Princes before he retires at the end of the season.

 PARISFRANCE (MAY 18, 2013)  (REUTERS) -  David Beckham lifted the Ligue 1 trophy after breaking down in tears as he was substituted in his last home appearance for Paris St Germain on Saturday (May 18).

The former England captain retires from soccer at the end of the season and theParis St Germain players and fans gave Beckham a memorable farewell.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic took his Ligue 1 goal tally for the season to 29 to inspire champions Paris St Germain to a 3-1 home win over Brest.

The Sweden striker scored twice before the interval while Beckham, who captained the team in his final match at Parc des Princes, set up Blaise Matuidi for the second goal.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder was overcome with emotion as he was substituted by Ezequiel Lavezzi in the 81st minute.

Last weekend PSG clinched their first French league title since 1994.
