LONDON, UK (JANUARY 4, 2014) (PITCH)  -  Premier League leaders Arsenal showed their class as they comfortably beatLondon arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday (January 4) to book a place in the FA Cup fourth round.

Referee Mark Clattenburg was cleared to appear after Southampton said he should not officiate because he insulted their captain last Sunday.

Goals on Saturday from Spanish forward Santiago Cazorla and Czech midfielder Tomas Rosicky after 31 and 62 minutes respectively sealed a smooth passage for the 10-times winners after an open contest in which the visitors played their part.

Arsenal played the last 10 minutes with 10 men because Theo Walcott was stretchered off after they had used all three substitutes.

It was new Spurs manager Tim Sherwood's first defeat.
